Jaali Boutique in Patnem is located in a sweet Goan style house with a big sprawling verandah that opens onto the garden cafe. Designer Kate spends much of the off-season exploring India, with an eye to hunting unique and interesting treasures to stock in her boutique. There are many desirable and covetable pieces. One of our most sought-after lines is eclectic and maverick: an ever-changing collection of one-off vintage finds, engraved brass tiffins, framed prints of Hindu deities, Jaipur miniatures, vintage erotica and 50’s tin-ware.
